When we come to realize who we are in God, we will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. God wants us to stand up and walk after His Son Jesus’ footsteps. We have to let go of flesh, and we have to walk in the Spirit of God.
See, when we become a born again believer of Jesus Christ, He lives inside of us
. That old man’s nature has died away, and the new man has come alive on the inside. But we must remember that Jesus doesn’t dwell in an unclean temple. We must crucify ourselves daily. We must pick up our cross daily to follow Jesus.
We must let God be the great shepherd, and we must be His sheep. We must move completely out of the way, and allow God to have full control, leading and teaching us by His Holy Spirit. We must let God lead us and guide us through His holy Words.
We must learn how to study to show ourselves approved and learn how to worship Him in spirit and in truth. We must let God’s word live on the inside of us.
Once we allow God‘s words to come alive on the inside of us, we will realize who we are and who we belong to. Jesus said, greater works shall we do. Signs and wonders shall follow those who believe. How can signs and wonders follow those who believe, if we don’t even know how to stand in our rightful place in God? God wants us to stand and speak His word.
He wants us to declare and decree His words over every situation of our lives. God wants us to understand that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. God wants us to hold fast to His unchanging hands.
We cannot let go. We can’t allow anything or anyone to cause us to give up, give in, or throw in the towel. We must stand with all that is within us. Just stand on God’s words. We must stand like the tree planted by the rivers of water. Don’t be shaken! Don’t be moved!
